Frozen Terrain

We are the desert *frozen terrain we must cross to enter the Promised Land.

~Noah Ben Shea

(*words 'frozen terrain' mine)

  1. like the sharded texture on the sky....adds a feel of ice....
its bitter cold here and windy, but no snow....tore 3 shutters
off the house with the wind last night....

  2. Such a beautiful image, Bonnie, and the quote is rich in insight. No one reaches the Promised Land without encountering both deserts and frozen terrain.

    Nice to have you back!

  3. Wow! This is a fabulous image, Bonnie!

  4. Much more like a water colour than a photograph. It’s beautiful.

Happy New Year Bonnie, late, but better late than never.

  5. What a stunning image! But, frankly Bonnie, I’d rather not reach the Promised Land if I have to cross such a frigid area. This morning it was 6 F here and that maybe the coldest day on record for our area – so I never went out. A friend in St Petersburg, Russia, told me it was warmer there.

  6. I love the sky you created in this image. .)

  7. What an amazing image this is! Winter is so beautiful.... just seems to go on a bit long. especially this year. Hope you are well and keeping warm.
