Not loving the bitter cold that accompanies today's rays, however. Wish I could stay home by the fire all day, read and make some winter-time comfort food, but the dentist and some hum-drum errands are demanding my presence. Hope you are safe and warm wherever you find yourself this Winter of 2012.
If you would like to try using textures with your photographs, I have many that you can download for free on my "Free For You" page on my other blog, Pixel Dust Photo Art. Please hop on over, take a peek, and help yourself to the ones you like.
I am sharing the image in this post with Lisa Gordon's "The Creative Exchange".

Really missed the whiteness and the softness of snow..So beautiful..Its just cold on this part of the world
ReplyDeleteHI BONNIE - I really love the image - so serene and Wintry :-) WE have a fire roaring in the wood stove - it is very cold today - about 7 degrees F, brrrrrrr. SO glad I am home.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter texture transformation
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful image this is Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing just how pretty a little snow can make things.
So nicely done!
Thank you so much for sharing with us today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a great day!

I love the vintage feel to this image...a beautiful winter scene
ReplyDeleteI hope we get some snow this year. Your picture is very nice – it looks like a vintage print. I went to see your other blog. You have some nice textures there but I would not know how to place them on my photos. My Photoshop element program that my husband gave me for Christmas a year ago is still on my desktop and I have not been able to use it much. I took a class but it was with men who had been professionals and the training was way above my head. Thanks for offering your textures though.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous- I so admire the antique overlay- it truly looks like a vintage postcard! We haven't that amount of snow yet and still have brown grass sticking up through the thin carpet of snow. I'm sure that will change at some point!
ReplyDeleteDelightful wintry scene, Bonnie. I think the landscape is so pretty to begin with, and your choice of texture has made it quite vintage!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful winter wonderland! Thanks for your comment at CE!
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer photos as they are, but the texture really enhances this gorgeous shot of yours. We got snow followed by frigid temps last week too. Stay by the fire and keep reading.
ReplyDeleteI've been admiring your extraordinary photos and textures..this one is particularly beautiful, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteLovely treatment of this snowy scene!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty of an image, Bonnie. Your textures look wonderful.
