"It is consoling to think, if I am not always looking for God, that God is nevertheless looking for me. It is my suspicion, so deep that I forget its existence, that I am as profound as I am willing to be, that only a small revolution or turn toward the light would make all the difference."

smiles. what a true and cool quote...and a lovely picture to boot...the fence and old wheels play well with the words...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quote, and I love this photograph Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteThat first line is truly astounding. And I just love that photo!
ReplyDeleteWonderful quotation, Bonnie! It's such a good reminder. I really like the image of the fence and flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo, Bonnie — beautifully composed and artistically rendered by you. The quote is also inspirational and thought-provoking. I think that many of us believe that a small revolution could make all the difference, but, ironically, we often find it difficult to make that small step. What is going on here? Are we attracted toward the light, but fearful that we will be blinded by its glare? Sometimes I think that, as human beings, we prefer contemplation rather than engagement. On well, as I said, the quote is thought-provoking.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite simply one of the most beautiful blogs I've ever come across. Really lifts the spirits.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image, Bonnie -- as for the quote, the second sentence resonates for me, but not the first.
ReplyDeleteI like the photo, but more so I like the processing you did with it. It has a colorful layer applied over in a way that looks bleached or washed out. Its a very nice and pleasing effect.
ReplyDeleteThe marriage of the print and the words...perfect!
ReplyDeleteI totally love that print!!
Hugs

Always looking for me, what a consoling thought. That I am loved, searched for no matter what I am doing or how my life is going. More than consoling, really, empowering.
ReplyDeleteLovely image, as well.
Thank you, Bonnie!
Just wonderful !
ReplyDeleteLove the painterly quality of this image! There are so many colors but they are so subtle it works. I also like the contrast of light and shadow between the foreground and background. The quote is marvelous too. I can put that into practice today.
ReplyDeleteOr, that God is working through all of us. Clearly, this kind of artistry is divinely inspired....EFH
ReplyDeleteFabulous bit of digital art! Lovely. Kim
