Nature, my immortal mother,
You give me a brief lifetime
Yet you put immense designs in my heart ...
Look at me, still unripe
Yet full of hidden powers,
Still becoming.

  1. Bonnie,
What a lovely pairing of quotes and images! I too, find thistles infinitely picturesque - wether beautifully blooming or dried and spreading their seeds. Super captures!

  5. I love the Albert Einstein quote - Al is one of my heroes, and I have a few of his quotes decorating the walls of my classroom. Might have to add this one...

And of course, as always, your photos are stunning.

  9. Gorgeous images and inspiring quotes. What more could one want to start the day! I think your post is all the more poignant because of the "simplicity" of the images and for the fact that you've managed to capture their essence; they seem to shine from within...

  17. Absolutely breathtaking.
That white fluff looks gorgeous in itself, but must also be very receptive to blends.
How come I missed this last week?
