... help ...

I'm hoping one of you savvy computer aficionados out there can help me.

After Irene caused our electricity to go down for 12 hours, I suddenly cannot save my work from Photoshop Elements 8 into Picasa (where I usually store all my edited images).  Have never encountered this problem before.

If I save to my desktop then I can move images into the proper folders but that is an couple of extra unnecessary steps I would prefer to avoid.  I closed down everything on the computer and re-booted it, but the problem persists.

Any ideas?  Anyone?  Please .... :)

  3. Thanks Matteo and Brian - I'm sure it will all fall into place sooner or later, as most things do. Not a huge problem on the richter scale! :)

  4. I'm rather clueless about those things, but I enjoyed catching up on your images!

  5. For anyone who is interested I seem to have solved the problem by right-clicking on the folder that seemed to not be receiving the images from PSE - and clicking on "Refresh Thumbnails". TA DA - everything that I had saved but could not be found appeared!!

    Thanks everyone!

  6. You should be SO PROUD of yourself for solving your problem! I was just about ready to yell out to my husband what your problem was as I was reading all the comments and then came down to yours and that you solved it. YEAH!
