... this bud's for you ...

Euonymus leaves and bud.  Kim Klassen Texture "Luminous" applied.

One of many species of ferns on our woodland property.

Beautiful Blue Spruce.

Anyone know what tree these leaves and seed pods come from?

Periwinkle-coloured blossoms of the Brunnera plant.

  1. These are breathtaking shots, Bonnie! Love the sharp detail of the spruce with the out-of-focus background, and the uncurling euonymus.

  4. They're superb, and each one has something so different to offer. That last one just comes to life for me, maybe in the gradual sharpening of the color as focal point and the perfection in the flower? Its an eye grabber for sure. I see how much pleasure you must be having in taking these and creating with them!

  5. Wish I could return the favor and identify your tree! Beautiful photography. I also read your the I, II & III of your daughters "dance" with cancer. So well written and really helpful. I have to find the post now on your experience with Canada's health care program - curious on your take.
