falling leaves

This piece of digital work began with a photograph from a bridge, of leaves hanging down over a meandering creek full of rocks and stones.  The photograph alone is captivating in and of itself, but I cannot seem to leave well enough alone and had to try out a few alterations in PSE 8.  This is one I like.

  1. A very striking and lovely image, Bonnie. Oranges again blues, the magic of complements — it always works for me. I also love the texture. Have a good week.

  2. Fascinating, without the explanation I don't know if I would have thought of rocks and or water below... interesting to look at it altered and see something entirely different, than the original photo.

  5. And I was thinking, oxidized. I love the transition those programs bring to the natural, almost like they are becoming contrasts of themselves. Then again, I am a Child of the 60s. This could also be a swell album cover, eh? EFH
