digital art experiments

All of the following digital art was produced in PhotoShop Elements by combining paintings, photographs and collages of mine.  Once merged, the composed pieces are treated with different blending modes and adjustments in opacity.

Especially in times of darkness,
That is the time to love,
That an act of love
Might tip the balance.

(just a little reminder to myself ~ :-)

  1. The third one really appeals to me.

  2. wow. love the trees but that monument is awesome!

  3. Hi Bonnie,

I love the prints, especially the second and fourth.
Also, the Aeschylus quote is fantastic and very apposite in Britain today - in fact, I'm going to pinch it for my blog now. Which play is it from?

    thanks for your blogging,

  4. These are beautiful!! Love them. Digi art is so much fun. I can get so lost in my work as I use the layers and brushes!

  5. All four are beautiful, Bonnie. The first is especially stunning. I have tried doing this type of work, and it's a big challenge to choose the right images to put together.

The Aeschylus lines are also challenging. It's tough to tear myself out of a box of self absorption in tough times, but when I do reach out and act in love, it benefits not only the other, but me too.

  6. bonnie the autumn trees at - the fourth image - really sings! steven

  7. All are lovely, but my favorites are the last two, Bonnie. I especially love the last... all the colors are used in my livingroom!

  8. These are stunningly beautiful images, Bonnie, and the fourth one is especially striking. Hope you are feeling better and that your wrist is on the mend. I have been on the road for a few days, but I am now prepared to return to the blogging world. Have a nice weekend.

  9. Wow! How cool! I love your compositions of color. The first two are my faves.

  10. I quite like the last one best though all are wonderful.

  11. That an act of love might tip the balance.
What a great light to shine on our paths.

  12. Interesting blends and colors!

  13. I love these, Bonnie!

    and what great words too

  14. I love all of these and simply couldn't pick a favourite, they make me want to dash of to photoshop and get creating, so inspirational. And the quote.....magical.
