    Oh yes, I can relate - a couple of times. The priest was the worst. There was nothing left after. I barely survived, but I did! And I came to life and blossomed again - . Wow, good one Bonnie.

  3. Oh yes, I can relate to that quote. It's amazing how we can use experience as compost for further growth, no matter how wounded the original event left us.

  4. How pretty, they'll be out in April/May time, Dicentra, aka Lady's bloomers, Dutchman's breeches, Lady in the Bath and, most of all, Bleeding Heart.
    And yes, I can certainly relate to the feeling and I am very proud that I am the one who is now blooming. So there!

  6. I've not thought of it that way and probably have not actually been sucked dry, but I have been sipped. : ) I do so like bleeding hearts, the plant and my own dear liberal bent!
