Treat Yourself to a Visit to Cottage Garden Studio

Today I received a lovely gift from Sarah, at Cottage Garden Studio.  The gift is an award designed by Sarah, which I will tell you more about in a moment.  First, I would like to feature Sarah's blog here, because it is a blog I regularly visit and would like to encourage you to do so as well.

Sarah has a way of making you feel welcome and valued.  Apart from her honest, informative posts, you will discover her beautiful photography and artwork.  She loves to create holiday-related drawings which are always delightful.  She has a gift with, and an understanding of, children and their needs which manifests regularly in the content of her articles.  I have experienced her care and concern across the blogosphere.  She is sensitive, tender and intuitive and this is evident in all of her her work.

I have copied her header (an example of her work) which you see below and a couple of other pieces of her artistry for you to sample here.  But to enjoy them all, and meet Sarah, please go and see for yourself at her blog, Cottage Garden Studio or at her new blog where she sells her work, Cottage Garden Studio Market.

Below is the award received from Sarah.  I love her artwork and will treasure it for that alone.  I will let her describe in her own words how this award originated, and its purpose.  Sarah says:

"It has been a while since I offered up this award that is dear to my heart. Inspired by Renee..one of my biggest supporters and dearest friends..I thought it was time to add a few to the list.

The Mental Duck to Mental Swan Award is given to two amazing groups of bloggers;

1. To Bloggers who encourage and nurture others bloggers to explore and grow in their creative, spiritual or mental lives.

2. To Bloggers who are blooming and growing creatively, spiritually or mentally in their lives & sharing it on their blogs .

Please do not pass this one along....I like to give it out every now and again as a gift from me..Thanks!

So..... I thought it was time to offer up a couple more of my little award. You all amaze me every day here. I could give this to a 100 folks here. But..I will limit myself to a few folks that have really stood out of late. So as Renee inspires me, I hope I can inspire you a little. Thank you for all you do.

I have watched these folks consistently offer not only amazing support to me but many others across the blogs!"

            "Welcome to Cottage Garden Studio's Market!

You will find here the artwork of whimsy and illustration artist Sarah Sullivan.
Please feel free to contact me.
I'm always happy to do custom or commission pieces."

So thank you dear Sarah for honoring me with your award.   I hope those of you who do not know Sarah yet will take this opportunity to discover her, her blog and her artistry.

(I am grateful for all awards received. However, I ask that this be an "award-free zone" and meme-free zone. Thanks for understanding!)
