  3. Oh, Bonnie...These are gorgeous!! Absolutely stunning! I want to breathe deep, and soak them into my soul! You are an incredible photographer and artist! And always so inspiring! You continually lift our hearts! I am so honored to know you! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind words...you are the REAL artist, and your approbation means so very much to me.I am both grateful and humbled by your words. Thankyou. Until last June, I hesitated to put any of my "experiments" up on my blog. I simply play. But I enjoy it, and I find often that my feelings can be much better expressed through music and art...and so I dare to display simply because I know no better way to tell my heart's story. In doing so, however, because I know I am an untrained amateur, I feel extraordinarily vulnerable...but your words have made me feel safe!!! Have a wonderful weekend! You have made mine!! With much admiration and love, Janine XO

  5. Ahhh cosmos! The most perfect little bits of summer, huh? These are gorgeous little shots of them, Bonnie. I'm having issues with my macro. Or my body-as-tripod. :p) I really admire your touch. Have a wonderful weekend! I'm gonna go skype my grandson. Listen to him sing.

  6. Gorgeous! You are right, we always just look at the top or side of the flower, when this view is just as beautiful. A different perspective and a different idea of beauty, perhaps, but still beauty. And this way we look up, at the infinite sky, as well.

I love the way you look at things!

  7. Bonnie - we so rarely look underneath flowers - these are lovely shots with the green against the white. Have a good weekend.

  8. And what delicate light is filtering through the tissue-transparent white cosmos petals! Thank you for this affirmation for the weekend, Bonnie!

  10. I'm not used to the white cosmos...only the orange. Those photos are stunning!!! Hope your weekend is fabulous!

  11. Backlit flowers and foliage in general is always so pretty. I think it's because of our arborial heritage...looking up through the trees towards the sky, that's what we saw. Very nice. May your weekend be lovely, too

  16. Hi Bonnie

I see the delicate cosmos supported by a sturdy green stem holding it to the light...

This is a good analogy for humankind...

    happy weekend days
